Getting Started

Welcome to the developer support portal for the Esperto Assessments Platform. This is where customers and integrators find the answers they need to connect to the platform — whether you talk to it directly through the REST API or through the MCP connector for Claude.

Two ways to integrate

There are two supported ways to work with the platform:

1. The REST API. A standard OAuth2-secured HTTP API exposing members, groups, campaigns, reports and settings. Best when you are building your own software integration. Start with Platform Overview, then API Access Setup and Authentication.

2. The MCP connector. A ready-made bridge that exposes the platform as tools inside Claude / Cowork, so you can manage members and groups in natural language without writing any code. Start with MCP Overview.

What the platform does

The platform runs assessments: people are invited to participate, and the output is a report generated from an assessment model. Everything in the API is organised around a handful of core concepts — members, groups, campaigns and reports. The Platform Overview explains each one.
